I love going on vacation, even though you know there will be a bit of an extra backlog when you get back. As a designer I think it is good to travel and see stuff in different places. You might not be thinking about work but somewhere in the back off your mind you pick up all kinds of inspiration. I caught myself making a button today that resembled a juice box in an advert I think I saw between Hillary and Obamas speaches last week.
So back in the office monday morning I was prepared for a bit of extra work, unfortunately sales had gone through the roof the week I was gone. So in addition to my backlog there were immense amounts of work to be done, listed below in no particular order I think I got all of it.

I was hired by Garry Davis over at WhyCommunicate to create a set of email templates keeping with the design of First4figures new website. Included were news / product release / affiliate marketing letters. This in itself was a great deal of fun but more-so was the fact that I had never designed html for emails before. I spent most of my time doing research into how a perfect email should be designed, what code is shown in what email clients etc. etc.
