Email marketing success story
It’s always flattering being mentioned by others and especially when it is compliments on the work you have done.
Some history:
I was hired by Garry Davis over at WhyCommunicate to create a set of email templates keeping with the design of First4figures new website. Included were news / product release / affiliate marketing letters. This in itself was a great deal of fun but more-so was the fact that I had never designed html for emails before. I spent most of my time doing research into how a perfect email should be designed, what code is shown in what email clients etc. etc.
I can tell you right now, if you thought html emails are normal css and some html code; think again.
After we successfully launched the campaign and modified our emails according to what the readers clicked and or did not click we now have a set of templates we intend to use regularly. Yes, by saying success I do really mean success. After one of the mail-outs we had 1 purchase every 2 minutes on the website for 4 consecutive hours.
To the point:
And all of this was flagged by the email marketing software company that we white label, they were so impressed with the results that they made us into a success story on their website along names like Thomas Pink, Innocent Drinks and Spannerworks now iCrossing) to name but a few. They even made an article about it in their Email marketing manual.
Of course this would not have been possible without the great software pure360 has developed, and if you guys read this; I can’t wait for the new version to be launched.
