Berty & Gerty

Archived work, from September 19th, 2007.

The Client:
Berty & GertyAfter running a shop down at the fashionable Camden Lock for 6 years, the owners at Berty & Gerty decided to take the step and sell online.

The Challenge:
As 2 former art majors they had a clear plan of what they wanted and we sat down trying to get their visions on paper onto the screen. They showed me a neon sign they had done 6 years ago. There unfortunately was no real artwork for this so we had to re-create the logo based on the neon sign.

The Result:
After a few version going backwards and forwards we finally reached a design they were happy with and a user interface that is easy to navigate. Promotional flyers were then designed and sent out in leue of the site launch and the upcoming holidays. As the majority of their clients are teenagers we also suggested they setup a myspace account to keep in contact with customers and promote sales online.
